STAYVEL POLICIES
Terms & Conditions
Guidelines for using the Stayvel platform and
making accommodation bookings.
01
Introduction and Acceptance
About these terms
These Terms & Conditions describe the general rules
for accessing and using the Stayvel website and its
associated services.
By using the platform, you agree to comply with the
applicable terms presented to you. Please read these
terms before making a booking or using a service.
02
Eligibility and Account Information
Accurate information and responsible use
Users should provide accurate and current information
when submitting enquiries, creating an account or
making a reservation.
- Provide truthful contact and booking information.
- Do not impersonate another person.
- Do not use the platform for unlawful activities.
- Keep account credentials confidential where applicable.
- Follow applicable property rules and booking conditions.
03
Bookings and Confirmations
Understanding the reservation process
A booking enquiry does not necessarily mean that a
reservation has been confirmed. Confirmation should
be communicated through the booking channel or
confirmation method used by Stayvel.
Before making a payment, customers should review
property details, dates, occupancy limits, the total
price, applicable fees and cancellation conditions.
The precise point at which a booking becomes confirmed
should be clearly defined in Stayvel's booking process.
04
Property Listings and Facilities
Property details and availability
Property descriptions, photographs, amenities,
location information, occupancy limits, prices and
availability should be reviewed before a booking
is completed.
Customers should contact Stayvel or the relevant
property representative if material information
appears inaccurate or requires clarification.
Property owners or authorised managers should provide
accurate listing information and communicate material
changes affecting a reservation.
05
Guest Responsibilities
Respectful and responsible stays
Guests should:
- Follow the property's communicated check-in and check-out rules.
- Respect occupancy limits and applicable identification requirements.
- Follow house rules relating to noise, safety and permitted activities.
- Take reasonable care of the property and its facilities.
- Report material issues to the relevant support contact.
- Avoid unlawful conduct and damage to property.
Additional property-specific rules should be disclosed
before customers complete a booking, wherever applicable.
06
Payments and Charges
Understanding booking costs
The applicable booking price and mandatory charges
should be disclosed before payment. These may include
accommodation charges, applicable taxes, service
charges, security deposits and other disclosed fees.
Advance payment requirements, balance-payment deadlines
and accepted payment methods should be displayed during
the booking process.
Payment processing may involve a third-party payment
service provider. Applicable payment terms should be
communicated to the customer.
07
Cancellation, Changes and Refunds
Review the applicable policy before paying
!
Important booking information
The cancellation and refund conditions applicable
to a booking should be displayed before payment.
Customers should review those conditions before
confirming a reservation.
The applicable policy should explain cancellation
deadlines, refund eligibility, date changes, no-shows,
early departures and the process for handling
owner-initiated cancellations or unavailable properties.
Refund amounts and processing timelines should follow
the policy applicable to the specific booking and
applicable law.
The final cancellation policy must specify actual
cancellation windows, refund amounts and processing
timelines before publication.
08
Property Owner Responsibilities
Accurate listings and property management
Property owners or authorised managers participating
in Stayvel should provide accurate property details,
availability, pricing, facilities and house rules.
They should maintain appropriate authority to offer
the property and comply with applicable permissions,
registrations and safety requirements.
Responsibilities for cleaning, maintenance, guest
access, complaints, cancellations and refunds should
be established in the relevant owner or partner agreement.
09
Stayvel's Role
Platform and accommodation responsibilities
The final terms should accurately describe whether
Stayvel acts as a booking intermediary, property
manager, accommodation provider or performs a
combination of these functions.
The responsibilities of Stayvel, property owners,
authorised managers and payment providers should be
described according to the actual service arrangement
and applicable law.
10
Complaints and Dispute Handling
Getting help when an issue occurs
Customers should report booking problems, property
issues, suspected fraud, cleanliness concerns or
material differences in a listing through the
available Stayvel support channels.
The final published policy should provide appropriate
complaint contact details, an escalation process and
any legally required grievance mechanism or response
timelines.
Governing law and jurisdiction provisions should be
reviewed by a qualified Indian lawyer before publication.
11
Responsibilities and Liability
Clear allocation of responsibilities
The final terms should explain the responsibilities
of the relevant parties for property conditions,
listing accuracy, guest services, safety concerns
and booking-related issues.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove a right
or liability that cannot legally be excluded under
applicable law.
12
Changes to These Terms
Updates and effective dates
Stayvel may update its terms when its services,
business operations or applicable requirements change.
The published terms should identify their effective
date and explain how updates affect existing confirmed
bookings.
Customers should review the applicable booking
conditions before making a reservation.
ⓘ
Important Notice
These Terms & Conditions are a working draft
based on Stayvel's policy preparation guide.
Before publishing, confirm the actual business model,
payment flow, cancellation rules, support contacts
and applicable legal requirements. A qualified
Indian lawyer should review the final wording.
